Hopelessly Yellow X RRC Content Event 2024

“Feeling Blue? Find your Yellow”

On Friday, February 2nd, Ross Retail Club (RRC) had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Hopelessly Yellow (HY) on campus. Founded in 2021, Hopelessly Yellow is a digital brand promoting mental wellness and positivity through writing, design, music, and media. Hopelessly Yellow strives to foster a passionate community for all, embodying a blissful feeling, a fresh mindset, and a golden lifestyle. RRC Content Team and HY Lifestyle Team showcased their club’s values and passions through engaging presentations about their creative processes for crafting content for the RRC and HY Instagram and Blog.

Club members were given the opportunity to create their own vision boards and meet new members from each team. Our Digital Editorial Manager, Libby Zufi, shared her experience - “As a member of both HY and RRC, I was ecstatic to participate in this joint event and help facilitate content for RRC through our Content Team presentation. I was incredibly proud to showcase the RRC Blog Writers and their hard work that goes into crafting pieces for the club. As a writer for HY and now the Editorial Manager for RRC, it was truly special to bring my two favorite clubs together and watch the passion of every member come to light during this collaboration!”

The event's second half was dedicated to making mood boards and crafting goodie bags for the University of Michigan community. The HY marketing team crafted a campaign to create wellness bags filled with candy, uplifting notes, and stickers. These bags embodied the mantra "Feeling Blue? Find your Yellow" and were distributed across campus. RRC is so grateful for this experience of bonding with another club on campus that shares our values and strives to bring happiness to our members! Thank you to RRC members for attending this event and to the HY Team for all of their hard work to make this event possible!

From our incredible President, Bizzy Webb - “Let's continue to radiate positivity—stay yellow, and go blue!”
